Early fert applications
Under-sowing:
Catch crops/cover crops- 3 weeks pre harvest
OSR - 3 weeks pre-harvest
Companion crops - OSR/Maize -post drilling
Slug Pellets-late applications/wet ground

1. Saturated ground-No mess, no ruts.
2. Crop isn't starved because fert spreaders can't travel.
3. 3 weeks extra growing time makes a huge difference in crop size/output.
4. No crop damage for late autumn/winter applications.
5. Cheap, Efficient, Effective

The list of chemicals the (CRD) Chemical Regulations Department are passing for application via drone is ever growing. With drone spraying and spreading operations developing in UK Agriculture, the opportunities and benefits we can offer your business are developing by the day!
PASSED: Micro nutrients, Liquid Fert, Pod stick, Nematodes,
COMING SOON: Glyphosate, Blight spray
Still to be passed: Insecticides, selective herbicides, fungicides

No mess
Better coverage and canopy penetration
No crop damage
We can access the areas boom sprayers can't
Output depends on the water rate- at 150l/ha we can achieve 4-5ha/hour.
The drones aren't designed to replace your boom sprayer, they are designed to work alongside them! And when you can't get on with manganese spraying in Jan/Feb, would you rather get 50ha/day done or nothing at all?!

A trial between a self-propelled boom sprayer applying pod stick at a water rate of 200L/ha, and the XAG drone at 80L/ha.
Which got better coverage?....The drone, at less than half the water rate!
Why? The control droplet applicators means the drone can create a finer droplet for more coverage and the downward draft from the rotors is physically forcing the product through the canopy!
How was it measured? UV paint was included in the mix, so when the plant were taken back to the lab, the coverage illuminated under UV light.
