SOLAR PANEL CLEANING BY DRONE

With new government grants being introduced, solar farms are becoming an increasingly common sight across the countryside as part of the UK’s push to reduce net carbon emissions. 

However, while they play a vital role in renewable energy production, maintaining their efficiency comes at a cost.

Traditionally, cleaning is carried out manually, often involving compact tractors and rotary brushes.

Solar panels mounted on grain stores, warehouses, or livestock buildings are more of a challenge to clean and often aren't cleaned. 

These are time consuming methods and cause a significant H+S issue.

Using our XAG P100 Pro, we can apply a specially formulated solar cleaning product directly onto the panels. 

This solution breaks down grime effectively, and with the next rainfall, both the dirt and cleaning residue are washed away, leaving the panels spotless and functioning at peak efficiency. Ideally the product is sprayed on the panels at least 3 days before a good amount of rain.
